Security in 2019 feels more uncertain than ever with the complexities of BREXIT, the advancements seen last year with the first use of the deadly Novichok nerve agent, and the unpredictable challenges we now face in the everchanging world of cyber, drones and counter-terror.
ISE is the only flagship event to bring Government, Industry, Academia and the entire end-user community in charge of regulation & procurement together under one roof to debate current challenges and to source the latest security technologies and services.
Featuring a large-scale exhibition, unrivalled educational conferences and high-level summits - all CPD Certified, plus a variety of immersive features and live demonstration areas, this year’s ISE is set to be the best yet.
The free-to-attend event unites the security community allowing shared learning and collaboration from across the entire supply chain including Government, CNI, Law Enforcement, Military, Major Events, Transport & Borders, Cyber Security, Facilities and Public and Private sectors.
New focus areas for 2019 will see the launch of INTERFORENSICS and INTERSOC.
The NCA have identified at least 181,000 offenders linked to serious and organised crime in the UK. Lynne Owens the CEO of the NCA said: “Serious and organised crime in the UK is chronic and corrosive, its scale is truly staggering. It kills more people every year than terrorism, war and natural disasters combined. SOC affects more UK citizens, more frequently than any other national security threat. And it costs the UK at least £37bn a year – equivalent to nearly £2000 per family.”
Her analogy made the additions of the new Serious & Organised Crime Summit and International Forensics Conference a must for the International Security Expo 2019.
Essential for any forensics professionals from Government, Academia, Law Enforcement, Legal Investigation, Crime Labs and the Private Sector, the brand new INTERFORENSICS area will showcase key exhibitors from across the forensics spectrum all centrally located around the live Forensics Conference. This must-attend conference will provide a comprehensive understanding of current policy and will look at the applications within the field along with some of the cutting-edge scientific techniques available, some that are so new they are not yet deployed.
INTERSOC is aimed at tackling international serious and organised crime. Bringing professionals from Government, Transport & Borders, Law Enforcement, Trading Standards and other regulatory and intelligence authorities together, INTERSOC features a dedicated high-level closed door Global & Serious Organised Crime Summit, plus a trail around the show floor of the key exhibitors from across the entire spectrum of serious and organised crime.
With 375+ exhibitors bringing the latest innovative security solutions, 50+ officially hosted country delegations and over 13,500 global visitors over the 2 days, the International Security Expo will scale new heights this year.
