Brighton-based security technology manufacturer Paxton has been recognised on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025—a list highlighting companies where people feel genuinely supported, valued, and proud of where they work.
The awards, powered by WorkL, evaluate organisations using detailed employee feedback across six key areas: Reward and Recognition, Instilling Pride, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Wellbeing and Job Satisfaction. Paxton’s inclusion is a strong endorsement of its commitment to create an engaging environment for the company's employees.
Nicola O’Donnell, Paxton’s Chief People Officer, said: “Being named one of the Best Places to Work is a real testament to the people who make Paxton what it is. Our aim has always been to create a workplace where people feel valued, listened to and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day. This recognition is based on their voices, and that makes it incredibly meaningful.”

These results highlight the strength of Paxton’s people-focused culture and the value employees place on their day-to-day experience.
A History of Recognition
Paxton has a consistent track record of being recognised as a top employer. In 2023, Paxton was ranked 22nd in the Best Companies to Work For list and was named the #1 manufacturer to work for in the UK.
Nicola O’Donnell said: "While it’s always great to reflect on how far we’ve come, we’re focused on what comes next. We’re continuing to listen and evolve — making sure Paxton remains a place where people can do their best work, develop their careers, and really feel part of something."
