Paxton Flyers take on the Chestnut Sussex 100 Cycle Ride

The Paxton Flyers are a team of cyclists of all abilities representing Paxton, the UK market leader of electronic IP access control and door entry equipment, at the Chestnut Sussex 100 Cycle Ride.

The event challenges cyclists to take to the roads of East Sussex to raise money and awareness for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice, a charity that provides care and support to life-limited children and their families.

Kerry O’Neill, Event Fundraiser for Chestnut Tree explains how Paxton’s involvement makes such a difference: “Chestnut Tree simply couldn’t survive without the support of local businesses. The Chestnut Sussex 100 offers a great opportunity for camaraderie whilst raising vital funds to help us care for local children with life-shortening conditions and their families. We would

like to thank everyone at Paxton for their support and look forward to cheering them on the day.”

Participants can choose between a 31km, 64km or 103km distance. The 16 strong Paxton team have opted to  take on the full 103km in their bid to rase funds for the charity.

Stephen O'Rourke, Development Team Leader at Paxton and founder of the Paxton Flyers said: “We really wanted to give something back to the local community. Chestnut Tree House is the children's hospice for Sussex and cares for over 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age. It is a brilliant charity with a valuable mission, and it is our pleasure to support them.”

The Chestnut Sussex 100 Cycle Ride will take place on Sunday 27th. Show your support by donating here https://www.justgiving.com/paxtonflyers
