Property management company Ashdown Phillips has appointed Assist Security Group (ASG) to provide security officers for the new Arbor building located at 255 Blackfriars Road on London's South Bank.

Arbor was designed by PLP Architecture and is the first building to be completed at Bankside Yards, the 1.4 million square foot mixed-use development and a major regeneration project for the city.
Sustainability is a focus of the 223,000 square foot Arbor building and the Bankside Yards project as a whole. The building runs entirely on renewable energy and achieves net zero carbon emissions from day one of operations. Advanced technology like air source heat pumps allows Arbor to use 30% less energy than comparable offices.
The Bankside Yards development is the UK's first large-scale mixed-use project powered by a 5th generation energy grid and completely free of fossil fuels.
The 19-story Arbor building provides flexible workspace, including two double-height floors that can be used as an auditorium or creative space. This design aims to integrate Arbor with the broader Bankside Yards development and create a 24-hour neighbourhood blending work and city life.
Once complete, Arbor will be surrounded by eight public spaces, three distinct cultural zones, 14 arches housing wellness and leisure options, a five-star hotel, and connections to London's cultural attractions along the Thames' South Bank.
