The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is pleased to announce the winners of its Regional Security Personnel Awards 2017.
Now in their nineteenth year, the prestigious awards serve to recognise the outstanding achievements and invaluable contributions made by professionals working within the UK’s private security industry. The awards are presented in five different categories: Best Team, Outstanding Act, Service to the Customer, Best Newcomer and Best Use of Technology. This year, there were 33 fantastic winners across all five categories over the UK.
“Each year I am humbled to learn of the truly outstanding work undertaken by security officers in their daily roles and this year was no exception,” commented James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA. “These awards are a fantastic way to showcase the hard work and talent exhibited by individual officers and teams within the industry, ranging from life-saving actions to intelligent uses of new technology. The BSIA prides itself upon representing the very best in the security industry and these winners are a testament to the true quality of our members.”
The regional award presentations will be taking place across the UK over the coming months, with each of the winners being put forward to the national judging phase of the awards. The national winners will then be announced at the Association’s Annual Luncheon in London on July 12th.
The BSIA would like to thank Camberford Law plc – specialist insurance brokers to the security industry – who have sponsored the awards since their inception.
